Alien Magical Girl Asset Pack

Part of a scrapped platformer project I had where a team of magical alien girls saved the universe. I made a lot of progress on art originally and always came back to the whole teams designs, but never had any reason to actually make them and finish them. Recently though, I decided asset packs may be the perfect place for them and their fun little world I had started to cook up. So I figured I would put them out there for others to see. Hope you like them!

This character is based off of a megaman style game and as such has various animations for a simple game like that. Currently she has:

Idle - with multi directional aiming (8 ways)

Run - with two aiming directions (diagonal up and straight forward)

Jump and falling animations - with 3 aiming directions

Crouch/ landing animation - with a crouched aim for lower shots

Hurt animation

Swimming animation

"Swim Fall" animation for a more mario style swimming instead of smooth breast strokes

If there is further interest I am open to doing more animations for her!

Planned Features:

Special Effects (muzzle flash and a laser shot)

An item acquired pose

Note: that these are just sprite assets, there are no game scripts or files of any sort

Also Note: the characters pixel size breaks the bounds of a clean 32x32 grid, and as such you'll need to have your engine auto cut it (tested with godot and it works fine for me)
